nine

1. I watched Lucinda Williams last night and...I don't know. People have off nights, performers too. Or maybe it's how she always performs? 
2. I was disappointed, if only because she's been on my long-time list of performers to see. 
3. I am glad to have seen her, and I was reminded that I do not enjoy and do not plan to do GA anymore, at least indoors.
4. I think it had been so long since I'd last been inside, standing only, I'd forgotten that it's not so great, no matter whose on stage, unless you're the lucky someone securing wall space to lean against.
5. I found a fantastic oxblood colored leather moto jacket deeply discounted, so that was a bit of excitement for this week.  
6. As I was straightening up around the house this afternoon, I was making myself laugh, adding 'like a boss' to the end of each chore, and suddenly the tasks weren't drudgery. 
7. I've outworn my welcome with this style of Birkenstock, (and likely any thong-style sandal), much to my dismay. 
8. My feet hurt when I wear them and that's something I'm unwilling to sacrifice anymore: aching feet.
9. Which is a sign of age, yeah? Even if I add, 'like a boss.'
