twelve

1. The Ace in Palm Springs was everything.
2. Naturally skeptical, I knew it would be great, but I've stayed at hipster hotels in the past and there have been small, (read: noisy, party people), annoyances, which were not an issue at The Ace. Ever. 
3. Perfectly appointed rooms, every detail has been thought out and planned really, really well.
4. We had BIG plans for the desert and in the end, we got exactly what we needed. 
5. It was awesome.
6. These are also awesome.
7. My Hasselbad my camera collecting dust in the closet is named after her. (Do you name your belongings?)
8. I love these. 
9. I use Shift at home, A sprays Focus for homework, and I gave Calm to Do.
10. I took a seminar with the creator of these elixirs last Fall, and I loved her and the presentation. 
11. Disneyland happened yesterday for A's upcoming 14th birthday.
12. We are convinced there is oxygen pumped into the place. 
13. We arrived when the park opened and I'm here to say that that is the only way to go. We were on our favorite rides with NO lines. 
14. It was so empty we were convinced we were on the wrong line, (Indiana Jones), rode in our own boat, (Pirates of the Caribbean), and saw things I've never seen inside the empty Haunted Mansion. 
15. So fun! 
16. So exhausted.
