Even with the subtle, (some would say warm), weather that is Winter here in Los Angeles, I'm grateful that Spring has sprung. Here's what I'm looking forward to:
- Salt water sandals. Beyond my beloved Birks, these have become my new favorites. Seriously cute, they look good dressed up or down.
- Pink lipstick. I'm obsessed with Laura Mercier's lip gloss lipsticks and the limited edition color, Rosette, is off the charts. A color that looks good on everyone, (no lie), I like this particular product because I don't like that lip gloss is often sticky and this lipstick gives my lips a bit of shine without looking juicy.
- Antelope Valley poppy preserve. At least I'm hoping...it's been so dry here this Winter...
- Picnics in the park. Ever since Miss A's smash hit birthday dinner party picnic, I've been building a small arsenal of sweet picnic items and plan to do a lot of eating outside, on the grass, this spring and summer.
- Camping. Coachella is putting camping back on my map, (I camped a lot as a kid). And with a new tent, I'm scoping places to go, like Joshua Tree and Angel Island.
- Sparkly nail polish for my toes like this one.
- Pottery class. I'm signing up to use the wheel, stat.
- Flea markets. Ok, you can pretty much peruse flea markets and the like year round here, but I'm on a mission for key items, (picnic, containers, trunks and suitcases), and I'm putting away small bills, (ones and fives), in anticipation.
