eight

1. This song, so loud last week during spin, had me lost in its rhythm, and I've been playing it over and over ever since.
2. The teen had all last week off from school and we didn't do much of anything as we often do when she has no school, because she's a huge procrastinator when it comes to homework. 
3. And unless there's motivation, (or, the thinly veiled bribe), she does everything else. 
4. We are refusing to indulge that tactic a moment longer because it begins to look a lot like Veruca Salt, (not cute), and this shit teaches a person how to manage time; a life skill that each person has to figure out for themselves.
5. As she figures out these life lessons, I am reminded that these life lessons are life-long, and it serves as an excellent reminder and check-in with myself concerning motivation, time management, and really, having to take care of, and doing things you don't want to do.
6. I watched this movie on the recommendation of my mentor, and I don't know. If you watch this film I'd like to know what you think about it. A truly original screenplay, fo sho.
7. It's raining, (we so desperately need the rain!), and I'm looking forward to a productive week ahead.
