1. no.85 on my list happened.
2. This new to me dude is so good, and suddenly I don't need to get tattooed by the mac daddy of single needle tattoos with the six month wait list and the $$$ hourly rate.
3. My dude is single needle skilled AND he charges by the piece.
4. He's also accessible.
5. I decided to not go to Vegas after all. 
6. I was having doubts about the trip, and I've learned that it's better to trust my instincts when I'm not feeling it, no matter how silly, (real or perceived), my reasons seem to be.
7. I have a lot going on in the next couple of months, and I felt like I didn't need this side trip. 
8. I tortured myself most of last week about whether or not to go, and then I just stopped and made the decision.
9. I got to watch Patti Smith perform on Thursday night and she was incredible.
10. I've begun another nine month, meeting once a month, fine art photo class. It keeps me on track and accountable.
11. And lights a fire under my ass to make new work. I actually got out and shot a bit last week and plan to have a weekly date with myself. 
12. I've hired my neighbor to take my boy on his AM walk so I can get out of here when A goes to school. It frees up my morning and is the best twenty bucks I spend in a week.
