- Broadchurch season two was great and I'm pleased to know that there will be another season.
- Bloodline is juicy and I can't wait to see how the story plays out.
- I rode with a new to me spin teacher this week, the second new one I've tried recently, and even though they both give a good class, they aren't for me.
- I'm not sure what the exact number is of teachers that I've tried, significant enough for me to notice that I've found the teachers that are right for me.
- I have my trifecta of amazing, and two others that offer a good playlist and a fun ride.
- I am forever grateful that I found my three teachers early on. They taught me how to ride so I don't injure myself, (something the newer teachers I've ridden with don't do), and they make what they do look easy, (which it isn't), and I have mad love for them for that alone.
- I finally cracked open the jar of preserved lemon I put away a few months back, (anywhere from 3-5 months ago, next time I'll date the jar, duh), and this particular batch is all that and more.
- The whole chili pepper, (called for in the ingredients), has given a nice amount of heat, and combined with the salty-lemony flavor it is so damn good!
- These are also pretty damn great.
- It was lovely having house guests.
- I've known B since I was 19 and that history makes it very comfortable to be in each others company, and is rich with stories which I love.
- She lives in London and I'm hoping to get there to see her again, sooner than later because her vacations consist of seeing family, (being an expat will do that to you).
- A had her bestie from summer camp for a day and night, (she lives in NYC), which was also fun, and now everyone in our house is tired and low-key.
- Last night we saw X at a local bar/venue that has been here since I was a kid and shockingly, I've never been to.
- It's really, REALLY small so you can really see your band, and you are stuffed in like a sardine, which is semi-ok, until you have a 40+ y.o. crowd regaining the glory of their punk rock youth through beer goggles and it was too damn rowdy!
- Still...it's a super fun space, the sound is great, and with no effort on our part to get there, (which is something to be said in L.A.), I'm looking forward to the two shows we have in July and September.
- Before the show we had a drink across the street, and I got to sit one barstool away from someone I've crushed on for as long as I can remember, eavesdropping on his conversation, while M chatted up some dude named Dewey.
- Good times.
