twenty-five

1. I had a good time with my friend from Brooklyn who came for a much needed vacation.
2. We talked a lot, drank a bit, rode a bike going nowhere twice, and shed a few tears.
3. Our girl graduated middle school, 
4. my favorite spin teacher returned from paternity leave,
5. and we began the big clean-up/organize the garage into a teen hangout place.
6. A loves playing records on the turntable and lately, more friends have been coming by, or asking to come by, for a listening party.
7. I want our house to be where they congregate and we bought an inexpensive turntable for the garage. 
8. We have awesome speakers that are in storage right now, (this house is smaller than our home back east), and all the cable to make set-up simple. 
9. Next up: furniture, (ikea), fairy lights, and my disco ball, and we are in business. 
10. I'd like this done in the next week so A has time to enjoy the space before she leaves for sleep away camp mid-July.
