thirty-one

1. This was the hot springs in Paso Robles. Doesn't it look inviting? 
2. I'm pretty much obsessed with hot springs hopping around California and have a decent list of naturally occurring springs that I plan to visit.
3. We watched Easy Star All Stars perform on Wednesday night and they were just as awesome live as they have been all these years on vinyl.
4. We danced the entire set.
5. We also drank a lot of tequila, which is my drink of choice these days, on the rocks with a lot of fresh limes. 
6. I've been productive while our girl has been away, finalizing the work I'll show in October, finalizing my artist statements, and putting together portfolios of old work, with artist statements. 
7. It feels good to have things in place with fall and my birthday approaching.
8. I have a lot of fun travel planned and I'm looking forward to it.

And that my friends, is all I've got. I hope your summer, (or winter), has been a good one and that you've been getting outside. I know it's the single best thing I can do for myself these days, even more than spin. xo
