thirty-eight

1. My birthday was quiet, just the way I like it.
2. My girl and I went for a ride, (her favorite teacher), who was hard as fuck, a reminder that I've gotten comfortable riding my favorite teachers.
3. Still.
4. I'm SO excited to be going to the desert for 3 days, Sunday through Wednesday. 
5. I wish the weather forecast wasn't for 100+, and I hope the rain that's also in the five day outlook, (all bases covered apparently), is a reality.
6. We're going here, no. 36 on my list, and I can't WAIT!
7. I have no idea what to expect, but Joshua Tree is a funky place and I'm excited that we're staying here for one night.
8. And then we go back to Palm Springs and two nights here, in patio rooms, which will come in handy should it be too hot or too rainy.
9. All of the above was true, except for the rain, which didn't happen, but fun did. 
10. A lot of fun.
