On my table you'll find a pile of Polaroids waiting to be filed. There's that article about The Arctic Monkeys that I pulled from the pile of recyclables going to the bin, and on top of that, there's a list and other things to do.
On my table there's a Yeti toy and a VW bus key chain. There's the rubber duck from Nashville and three rolls of 35mm film waiting to be shot.
There's a flash drive and a small bowl of fortunes and cut out words; ephemera for that art journal I'm going to start someday.
I have my sister's R2D2 mug full of my favorite pens, and another mug that my girl painted in some art/school/summer camp and I love that too.
There's the SX70 I've been meaning to list on Ebay,(or Instagram), because I really want to lighten my possessions. And there's the rainbow colored rainbow loom bracelet that she made me. I love that she still wants to make things for me.
I think about walking her to school late this morning and all of the projects that she's had on her table this week, the same table in a different color, that I'm sitting at writing this post.
