thirty

1. My road trip this week was a lot of fun.
2. I met my college roommate in the middle of the state, and apparently we weren't as clever as I thought.
3. We were told it's a very common thing for families, friends, even companies to meet in the central valley, so there you go.
4. We met in San Luis Obispo, to stay here, where I got to stay in a super fun room, and cross another item off my list, (no. 90).
5. We spent one day visiting hot springs and wine tasting.
6. The next day we moved hotels to the coast and spent the afternoon on one of the tours offered at Hearst Castle, and I have to tell you it is truly one of the best places I've ever visited.  
7. My girl has been gone a week and I miss her.
8. It's fun for it to be just us though, especially since she's not into staying home alone, is too old for a babysitter, which means we are often out eating early and home before 8pm. 
9. I know this period won't last long, know that she's on the brink of wanting alone time in the house, (I know I did as a teenager), and this too is a phase.
