Today's list is brought to you by an eyeball bleed-out bordering on epic, as my senses are assaulted by a small and potent arsenal of words and phrases found over and over again on the internets.
All of the words are lovely, even in an online context, I just feel like I've seen them all enough; that these words have lost their sparkle and I tend to glaze over, or click away now when these words appear.
This post comes across as snarky it's true. But I stopped writing for an audience here a long time ago, and for posterity's sake, I think it will be fun to look back in a few years on the words that saturated social media in 2012*.

*of course these words started appearing well before 2012, but i felt soused by them this year.
