- I made a polenta recipe that I'd found in a magazine that was topped with a simple ragu.
- I'm unsure why most of the simple ragus I've made over the years call for an abundance of tomatoes that never cook down completely.
- Or maybe I just don't like ragus.
- A calls polenta, 'cornhole' and it cracks me up every time.
- I
devouredread this book and really loved it. It's one of those stories that you aren't sure how it will play out and when it's over, it's exactly as it should be. - It looks like they'll make a movie of it, which I will definitely watch, because my boyfriend is the director and one of the stars.
- I finished this book and I'm still unsure whether I liked it or not. The writing is really good, it's the story. If you've read it or do read it, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.
- That really great purse I was counting on? It's really great but...seriously! There's almost always a but. This one is great for pockets, a sturdy cross-body option, and then you open the bag.
- Inside the bag, for no reason at all, (because we're talking bucket shape), there's a divider that's flimsy and floppy and does nothing but gets in the way of the bag contents.
- I've thought about cutting out the extra fabric because it won't compromise the design in any way, but it seems lame to buy something and then alter it. Or does it? (the bag wasn't inexpensive so there's that. not $$$ but not cheap either.)
- We have a 50th birthday party to attend tonight. My oldest friend here in L.A., (no pun intended), has an amazing house and always hosts a great bash so I'm looking forward to it.
- I offered to shoot the party for her and she accepted. Gives awkward me something to do since I won't know many people.
- I'm hoping to get enough that's good to make her a book afterwards.
And that my friends, is all I've got for you. I hope you're having a good weekend in your neck of the woods and I will catch you sometime next week. xo
