insta.highlights

Interestingly, (at least to me), when I'm out shooting, (on vacation or otherwise), I've learned that it's difficult for me to focus consistently when I have more than one camera on my person. As an avid shutterbug, there's no way I'll choose just one camera, (especially on vacation), but I do realize that I need to be more conscious for consistency and continuity.

When my DSLR is in my kit, there's less chance that I won't have what I'm shooting for, but the instances when I travel without, I rely on my phone. And it's pretty rad to see that while I might not have been shooting every day despite carting my kit around, I do have a record.

Wednesday was spent shopping and people watching, with an afternoon and evening in repose, certain to be in the throes of the gripe, but really, I was just jet lagged. I did blaze through a few episodes of this, in anticipation of season two and ate really delicious Thai food for dinner.

Thursday I had lunch with a good friend from our NJ days in Marylebone, a neighborhood new to me. We ate here, and we drank even more. While both of those experiences were delightful, the best was the talking that went down with the chilled white wine. We talked and laughed all afternoon.
