36

  1. It has been a slightly epic week, (at least in my mind), as I pushed through fear Tuesday evening and found light on the other side.
  2. Feeling empowered, I signed up for front row for the Saturday, 60 minute ride, (most classes are 45), and then spent the rest of the week trying to talk myself out of riding in the front because of...at last count there were 20 good, solid reasons why I should change bikes and get out of the front row. I'm glad that I pushed through the 'I can't' and went with 'I'll try'
  3. I received some great critique/feedback on how to proceed with my black and white photo series; understanding that while I might want the portfolio to be complete, the series needs more work.
  4. I know/knew it, and I was resisting it. And it was good to hear other opinions about the direction I need to go.
  5. This week I ate the same thing for lunch everyday: toasted bread spread with babaganoush and topped with fresh mint leaves, thinly sliced hot house cucumber and drizzled with extra-virgin olive oil. De.Lish.
  6. A good friend moved back to the east coast last week and I'm missing her presence more than I'd expected. Even though our lives had been busy and we hadn't hung out as much, knowing that she's not here anymore is something else.
  7. I love serendipitous moments because they make me a believer that there is magic in our world.
  8. I was driving yesterday and right before me, billboard size, was the word I'm contemplating for 2015.
  9. I like to choose my word around my birthday/Jewish new year, which has always felt like more of a 'new year' to me than December 31st.
  10. I try it on for a few months and solidify its presence by the end of the year.
  11. Generally I've stuck with the word chosen in September, although last year I changed my word at the last minute and even though it has been a crazy ride, I'm glad I did.
