- The mister traveled a bit this week and he goes away again next week for a few days.
- It's good when he goes, I think he gets cabin fever.
- I wish he'd go away for a vacation instead of only traveling alone for work.
- I'm a big fan of solo vacations. They do wonders.
- Speaking of solo vacations, I came to the realization of why I don't like to share hotel rooms when traveling with friends. Unless the mister is traveling, I share a bed and bedroom every day of my life and I love that. But it's also pretty fucking awesome to be alone, in a hotel room, in a big bed, with the AC cranked to 'meat locker' and bad TV.
- And speaking of friends, I've reconnected with two friends that I'd fallen out with, friends I was certain I'd never be friends with again.
- I love that life is mutable when I let go.
- I've been on a binge with the show Sherlock. God it's good.
- I'm excited for an upcoming, continuing education weekend workshop in San Diego.
- Whenever I write/hear/read "San Diego" I hear it in the voice of Ron Burgundy and it makes me happy. (I love that movie.)
- I had a beautiful dinner for my birthday on Monday evening with my family. I received lovely and thoughtful gifts and it was a good one.
- I pushed the envelope in both the gluten and dairy departments and even the 'smallest of tastes' is too much. I paid for it most of the week and it wasn't worth it, no matter how good.
- I'm digging this song, although I'm not a fan of the video.
- I watched this movie and it was good.
- I finally went here, no.83 on my list.
- I went to MOCA this weekend and saw their new exhibition: Andy Warhol, Shadows. If you're in L.A. between now and February, I highly recommend spending some time in those rooms. I plan to go back again, (likely multiple times), and think it makes sense for a membership.
- And if you're interested, you can read about the series over here.
