- The above photo is the one I submitted for A's yearbook this year.
- 8th graders get to have a dedication page, and a baby photo, and the above baby photo is probably my most favorite.
- It's an outtake from a father's day gift I made for M for his first one, documenting a day in our baby's life, using a Polaroid i-zone.
- I sure loved that little sticker camera and I love the pile of outtakes that I have from that afternoon.
- I also loved that apartment on Pineapple Street in Brooklyn. It was the first place we ever owned and I'd have stayed forever but for the school issue.*
- I asked for this necklace to be my gift for the holidays.
- I continue my handbag search, convincing myself that I will not buy one more bag
that I will returnonline, and then pushing send orderpulling the triggeron the next greatest bag that I'm convinced I've found. - We watched Sarah Silverman do stand-up last night at a favorite venue and she was AWESOME!! She's been on my comedy bucket list for awhile now and it was a treat to watch her with my honey.
- We had a good time.
- She had other comics with her, and this lady closed the show. She has such great timing, I hope to watch her again.
- Tonight we have a party in the neighborhood, (yay! no driving!!), Hannukah starts Tuesday, and then, next Saturday, my peeps will be on their way to Japan. (Eeeep.)
*Every NYer that chooses to become a parent faces 'the school issue', i.e.: public schools aren't always great, and private schools are fiercely competitive for admission. It's why most families eventually end up in the surrounding suburbs.
