52

The last one for the year and late...

  1. I finished SOA and I loved it. It was rough to watch,(and I have watched my fair share of gnarly shit), probably the most violence ever, and yet, the more I think on the story and its characters, I marvel at its epic brilliance and I'm glad I took the ride.
  2. After all of that, I needed a damn break! So I watched this  classic, this documentary, and then I started Buffy, because I've never watched. Sort of hard to believe, but better late than never right?
  3. Nine days is a long time for my people to be gone.
  4. Face Time helped a lot.
  5. I've let it be known that I am done with the holiday traveling and next year we are home, the end.
  6. I started knitting again.
  7. And the twelve day hiatus from spin was good for my body. My tight spots and aches are gone and I'm looking forward to getting back on tomorrow morning. Seems appropriate to take a ride on the last day of 2014.
  8. I asked for a cotton robe from Japan and was surprised by a beautiful, traditional-looking, cotton kimono from this store.  (I mention the store because there used to be a beautiful, freestanding store on 5th Avenue that I loved and was a destination for wedding gifts.)
  9. A dear heart came to stay for the final four days of my little staycation and that was a good time. We shopped a little, and talked a lot. And we relaxed. We were in bed early every night. We drank copious amounts of tea, and spent a lot of time outside on the deck, even though its been cold here.
  10. It was the perfect ending for the year.
Happy Holidays friends, and thank you for reading along here. 2014 was a big year for me personally and on this side of it all, I would not change one thing. I like where I've landed and I can appreciate where I've been, because it got me here. And I feel hopeful and I'm looking forward to what's to come.

Peace and love to you and yours. xo
