list no. 32 :: the boring edition

Last week I...  

1. Exercised four times: 2 spin classes, a Bar Method class and a power walk
2. Read two books: Boonville and A Vintage Affair
3. Talked on the phone for three hours and consumed a half bottle of wine in that time
4. Never felt drunk, but certainly felt hung-over
5. Woke at 4:30am to go to the flea market, only to discover, (when we got there), that I had the wrong weekend
6. And I dragged two friends with me
7. Ate breakfast out three times last week, yum
8. Went to the beach with the two friends I have from high school and it was good fun
9. Shot a pack of Impossible test film and none of the images had the results that I've seen online
10. Realized that me + the Impossible project film has me questioning my photog skills constantly, and especially with my sx70
11. Shot a roll of 35mm film
12. Went to my favorite camera repair shop and learned that my OM-1 shutter problem has not returned, that it is in fact the lens. (both the body and the lens were repaired recently.)
13. Took the lens off the body before going to the camera store, because they often leave the body open and I don't like that
14. Thought I was really clever this time to remove the lens and cap the body 
15. Now I have to make another trip
16. Dropped off my beloved 680slr at the same time because she refused to acknowledge film in her pocket and the black slide wouldn't eject. The film is both new and worked in other cameras so I think she's tired of my bumbling ways, (read she's been dropped a few times, doh!), and I'm really hoping some TLC and a tune-up has her working again and also, doesn't cost a mint
17. Recently had a bit of a shopping bender
18. It didn't go over so well with the mister

**Edited to add: turns out it's not the shutter or the lens, but me and my wanton ways of throwing my film camera into my beach bag because 'it's a metal beast, it can stand anything...' except SAND. yes, sand seeped into the body and a tiny bit into the lens. Hoping my camera dude can use canned air to blow it out, also hoping that it isn't an expensive lesson. Really, I've had enough of those lately, thank you very much.
