- It's beginning to feel like the end of the summer. The light has begun to change; subtle and muted, wistful.
- It's getting dark a little earlier each day as we bound towards when it's time to 'fall back' with the clocks.
- I've been digging on iced americano coffee in the afternoons.
- And eating a lot of tacos. I never tire of Mexican food here in L.A. It is so, so good.
- We tackled school supplies this week and it was stress-free.
- We bought this for her locker, a shelf to add a second tier on the inside, and of course, a magnet-backed mirror and white board.
- Don't even ask about summer reading, because I've vowed that I will keep my mouth shut for this last book she's required to read.
- It hasn't been easy.
- Speaking of A, she has a summer flu, (fever, chills), and is down for the count today lamenting a trip to the mall for back to school clothes. As I write this she's rallying to feel better.
- Yesterday I cleaned out the last of my ratty workout clothes: all of my long sleeved tees, save two, even the newish ones.
- They were the remnants of that time when I'd recycle my old long and short sleeve tees into gym wear. They were old, sad and schlumpy and their removal was long over-due.
- I'm not sure what I'm going to replace them with. So far I haven't seen anything I like, and frankly I'm not even sure what I want other than something to wear for outdoor exercise. To be continued.
- I've been watching this new show. I like the way the show looks and I like the way William looks.
- Looking forward to watching Boyhood this weekend, it looks so good!
