divination

I read this blog post a few weeks back and it has resonated ever since.

I love the idea that paper is so strong it's able to carry anger; that it will hold whatever needs to be said.

I relate to there being closure in some sort of releasing ritual. Fire resonates, but isn't always accessible, and since reading the article, I've thought about other ways to let go.

My first thought is the ocean. I think it would be excellent during a full moon. The sea is affected by the moon's gravitational pull and that energy conveys its strength and can carry the weight of anger.

I'm more conscious of anger these days as I try very hard to let things go. And I've made such progress! I'm proud of myself for how far I've come, but I also think the visceral and cellular levels need a release too. Holding anger in our bodies, even in brevity, isn't good.

I think this process, of making my anger divine, will move the energy into another channel. There's a flow to any and all of the energy in our bodies that isn't always available with anger which longs to remain stagnant and fixed.
