- Our wedding anniversary is tomorrow, 18 years.
- I loved our wedding. I loved the venue, (a carriage house in the West Village), I loved the flowers and the music, and I loved that we spent our wedding night at The Plaza Hotel.
- We don't have much planned this year, (sort of like my birthday). Not in a downer way, more low-key and understated.
- We've invited the neighbors over for cocktails, my choice will be Moscow Mules.
- Moscow Mules have become so popular around these parts that we have had a hard time finding a proper ginger beer as it has been sold out.
- If that's still the case I will use ginger ale and have Dark and Stormy's instead.
- A proper Dark and Stormy is also made with ginger beer, but I started this bevvie long ago with ginger ale and it tastes good to me.
- Vodka + ginger ale is vodka and ginger ale, not a Moscow Mule, at least in my opinion.
- This appetizer looks amazing and would likely be a crowd pleaser.
- This salad also looks amazing and now that I have a spiralizer, will be on our table for dinner very soon.
- We have very few days left of summer vacation and I will miss having no schedule. Homework, making lunches...boo.
- Not that I mind so much, (the lunch making), I just wish that school started a bit later.
- 9-4 would be much more civilized than 8-3, especially during the teen years when sleep is imperative.
- I have another photography show coming up in about one month. I'm showing digital work this time, and I feel a little intimidated as I'm showing just one, big piece.
- The gallery is more salon style for hanging purposes.
- Since space is a premium, (both on the walls and as a viewer), I felt one large piece would be easier to see in a crowded room.
- But now I'm feeling pressure, (self-imposed of course), with just one.
- Will my required artist statement about the work hold up? This question gives me butterflies.
- Clearly the answer is: I've chosen correctly.
