12

  1. I've finally decided on the photos I'll show at the end of April. I'm part of a group show, (coinciding with the grand opening of the new space where I've been taking classes), and I'm really excited.
  2. I noticed this morning that one of the images in the series has been damaged. I'm sloppy with my filing system, leaving my photos in piles on my desk, throwing things on top.
  3. And I've been sloppy about saving the negatives because peel apart film negatives take a long time to dry and I almost never have the space to dry them properly.
  4. I have no excuse for not saving the negative for this particular image other than we were in Eureka and anxious to leave after the explosion and earthquake, (not to mention the town bail bonds and the prison were conveniently located a block away).
  5. I'm glad I've started scanning my photos larger, but truthfully, it's always something with me and my work.
  6. I need to change that.
  7. I'm considering making a big commitment/purchase in a printer. I spend a lot of money on test prints and apparently, proofs are even more costly. I'm fairly certain I've already spent the cost of a printer on prints so that's something we're discussing.
  8. Right now I'm reading The Luminaries and wow, what a story so far. I love that the intrigue keeps building and building and I'm so curious to see where we go.
  9. I've been obsessively watching Veronica Mars, a show I wanted to watch when it was on air but never did. (And then I'll go see the movie.)
