- I love these horoscopes every Sunday.
- Popcorn with melted, irish butter and salt.
- I've been trying to make a packing list for my road trip this week, and while I've got a mental checklist going, it's still very vague and it's a bit anxiety inducing.
- This chocolate flourless cake. Super easy and always a crowd pleaser.
- I don't do the creme fraiche portion of the recipe as I'm 99% dairy free and I don't think the cake needs it. That said, when I've gone to a party, etc. and I need the big guns, the fresh whipped creme is amazing.
- This necklace.
- Taking it to the next level with my workouts. I'm proud of myself for not going balls to the wall this time and remembering that slow and steady is a method too.
- I often stop and start with the gym. When I push too hard, too quickly, I almost always injure myself and then I stop going. This time, I want it to stick.
- I have a goal. I want to look and feel my best when I turn 50 in September and I run my bare naked butt into the ocean.
- Here's the truth: I can't fuck around anymore. Bone density, weight maintenance for heart health...all of this is more important than its ever been.
- I've had my head in the sand about turning 50 for at least 5 years. So ashamed and old-feeling that I'd resorted to averting conversations about my age; not telling anyone unless I was asked and it's a load of crap.
- I'm owning my age and I'm proud of it. And I intend to look and feel the best I can about myself, no more wallowing.
- Old dance-y dance songs to keep my booty moving have kept my booty moving this week.
- Like this song,
- and this one too.
- My new favorite cocktail.
- Did I tell you that the mister bought us tickets to weekend one of Coachella? The line-up slays me.
