- My girl is 13 today.
- I love the serendipity of turning 13 in the 13th week of the year.
- I labored for two days before she delighted our lives with her presence and she has continued to delight us ever since.
- She is the love of our lives, teaching us patience, joy and what it means to truly live with a kind and gentle heart. She has made us both better people.
- A deep longing,(really), to reconnect with the sea. It's ridiculous that I live less than a mile away from the beach and most of my interaction of late has been a quick drive-by with the windows down; hoping to catch a breath of the briny air and hear a wave crashing on the shore.
- This video on Uta Barth, whose work has been an inspiration of late.
- I love this book.
- I've been reading non-fiction alongside the fiction I'm addicted to. Truly, I have to have a story to read, always.
- I've been reading books on photography and writing and I've picked up a couple of books on creating/manifesting because I can't help myself. (I do love me some signs and messages.)
- I made a huge decision, an epiphany really, and admittedly it's a first world problem of the most epic proportions, but it will make a difference in my life so! I'm going to break up with the pretty gym I belong to that I love, but hate driving to because the location sucks, in favor of the less pretty gym that I can walk to.
- I'm a no frills in the gym girl anyway. I generally don't take classes. Give me a rack of free weights, a bank of televisions with bad shows and closed caption displayed in front of the cardio equipment and I'm happy.
- I have a goal by my birthday in September and the only way to get there is with the help of the gym and that means going as much as possible.
- And while I will miss the chilled eucalyptus infused towels that the pretty gym offers, I've already gone more this week to the walking distance
ghettogym than I've gone in the past month to the pretty gym, soI'm telling myselfit was a good decision.
