notes on life : observance

A recent, deep understanding of where I've been and how far I've come has been a reminder to stay out of others business when it doesn't involve me.

As the saying goes... when you assume, (what someone is thinking/saying/being), you make an ass out of you and me. I don't know what motivates an action, especially when I'm not involved beyond involving myself. In those instances, I need to keep walking on by, nothing to see here, for reals.

I don't know anything other than what I've been told. If actions speak louder than words, than I need to understand that I've been offered the gift of insight; perhaps necessary information to make an assessment of the person whose actions are in question.

The only thing I have any control over are my own actions and reactions. There are questions and choices and what I know is that most decisions are rarely finite; there is always room for interpretation and that is what I've learned to appreciate.
