44

  1. I didn't take one photo at my friend's party last Saturday.
  2. Luckily, she wasn't counting on me for that.
  3. The party was a reminder that I cannot go to any party, (dinner parties included), hungry.
  4. Very often there is very little for me to eat, and that, in combination with alcohol, doesn't bode well.
  5. I do miss the days of being able to eat without too much concern.
  6. Speaking of eating, I've had my fair share of sugar these past few weeks, which are likely months instead of weeks, and it shows.
  7. I'm still riding consistently, but I'm lifting inconsistently and that is a lethal combination when you consider my elevated sugar consumption.
  8. She went trick or treating without one of us for the first time and I survived.
  9. I forgot about the tiny fridge in the garage that holds my film when we had no power and in those 8 non-electrified hours the tiny freezer defrosted onto my film, (again), and then, when the power came back on, the water froze and then the film sat in ice.
  10. The film that took the hardest hit was the expired B+W Fuji peel apart film, so that's super awesome.
  11. Finally figured out that I should put the film into ziploc freezer bags and then if there's any water leaking anywhere, it won't damage the film.
  12. The perfect purse I mentioned a couple weeks ago? It definitely did not work out, and I've begun to explore grommets and fasteners in earnest.
  13. I saw two films this week: Begin Again and St. Vincent and loved both for very different, (duh), reasons.
  14. It's a get away week for me as I head down to San Diego, (again), for more continuing ed credits. This time I'm going to a weekend conference full of everything Chinese Medicine, at the CA campus of the school I attended in NYC.
  15. They've held these symposiums for as long as I've been an acupuncturist and I've never attended.
  16. I have mixed emotions about it, but a couple of my old teachers are speaking and that's sort of thrilling.
