- I recently finished a light novel that I enjoyed.
- In the library of my Kindle I discovered that I'd bought the writer's sequel. Kindle purchases can be like that; so quick and it's done, and then you forget about it.
- Until you begin reading and the story is so similar to the first that the first begins to pale and the second becomes a skimmer which I will likely remove from my iPad the second I finish this post.
- It used to be that I'd finish every book I started to its bitter end, but why bother? Life is too damn short to spend precious reading time on a crap story!
- I've started writing these posts throughout the week and yes, I did delete the book above in favor of this one, which is very good out of the block.
- I've been talking about my Jetta Wagon which I loved for awhile, how the rattling sunroof that rattled since it was new, had continued to rattle and it was rattling my nerves.
- Because it was fairly new and very low mileage, not to mention that it's trendy because it's diesel fuel and a boat-wagon, it had a decent trade-in value and that's what we did.
- And the mister found the BEST car for us as a family and much more suited to me as it's my car: a Mini Cooper Countryman.
- The last time I'd driven a mini was when there was one size only and it wasn't love.
- This car, so far, is great! MUCH smaller than my Jetta boat, this car is a tight drive and very sporty, and the best thing is that I won't stress about street parking on the narrow streets near our home.
- My boat-wagon wouldn't even fit properly in our driveway when the street was full and what's that? We have one child, and I don't need the possibility of sleeping in the back just because.
- Especially since I'm not much of a camper.
- There was shopping this week with my girl who has cute style that is more conservative than my own and uniquely her which I love.
- Tonight there's the symphony with the mister and tomorrow a bit of shooting with a friend.
And that my friends, is all I've got. Hope your weekend has been a good one!
