- Joshua Tree happened, no. 27 on the list.
- I think my expectations were too high on what the park would offer.
- I definitely thought the joshua trees would be less sparse; I thought there'd be more in both stature and density.
- The park is beautiful and if you're a camping, rock climbing person, it would be heaven on earth.
- I'm really glad to have gone, there's nothing like the desert in the winter months.
- I made some nice photos, and I made a few for the series I'm working on.
- I dropped my iPhone on the hard surface of the bathroom for the last time.
- The phone is dead, (it was time for an upgrade anyway), and being without cell service and/or connection/social media made me realize how attached I am to both.
- Definitely something to think about.
- We killed a bottle of Cafe Patron on Saturday night, and I remembered what a hangover felt like.
- Thankfully it's been awhile.
- Still, no regrets. That bottle was necessary and welcome as was the company that helped in the task.
- I bought a lens for my Hasselblad.
- After considering the cost of rentals, I'd quickly spend the cost of the lens after a few outings and while it never feels completely comfortable to spend $$ on a used item, I'm smitten.
- Or I should say I'm smitten with the sound of the shutter firing.
- I haven't developed any of the images I've made and I'm certain there's a steep learning curve.
- I'm not so clever with light meters and calculations and this will be a good exercise in slowing down, letting go and being comfortable with patience.
- To be continued.
