five

1. It's pretty crazy that we're already five weeks into 2014.
2. Maybe because we've been so busy around here that it feels like it's rushing by.
3. There were auditions and call backs for my girl's theater company.
4. They're doing High School Musical and boy are the stakes high both here and with all of her theater friends. 
5. I'm looking forward to the cast list coming out so we can have a reprieve from the drama!
6. And this guy above needs both a bath and his booster shots.
7. I went to the L.A. Art Book Fair which was pretty great. Even if I thought art books meant this, not this.
8. The printer/bookmaker I linked were my favorites. They have simple, beautiful products and some day I'll have a book made by them. (good goal, yeah?)
9. Overall, the fair was great. There were some beautiful publications and fantastic, small press books. 
10. I gathered some good information and found a few idea-inspiring self published books.
11. Really, it was a recon mission; last week's homework for my class.
12. I wrote a packing list for Joshua Tree, scratching my footwear choice, (lug-soled uggs), in favor of thick leather boots. 
13. Call me crazy, but two, separate people said to watch out for rattlesnakes, even in the winter, and I'm listening.
