1. I finally began to watch Friday Night Lights. I don't know why I waited so long. 
2. Just another reason to love Connie Britton.
3. Fonuts. (Before I was gluten-free, I didn't like donuts.)
4. Finally got to this place.
5. During the winter months, the wind patterns are such that we can hear the waves crashing on the shore inside our house as though we're right on the shore and not a mile away.
6. Found a great new-to-me place to eat right across the street from the beach. A perfectly funky atmosphere with many tiny tables for one. The sort of place you'd bring a stack of books and something to write with.
7. It's the kind of restaurant you want to eat your way through the menu, so you can figure out what your favorite dish will be.
8. And it has the best bathroom I've seen to date. (There's a naked, anatomically correct statue of David on a table next to the commode.)
9. I'm planning a road trip. Most likely solo, I'm itching to see a few places along the west coast and I'll finally be able to complete no. 64 on my list.
